A married mum who had group sex with several underage schoolboys after performing a striptease was caged for seven years today.
Amanda Tompkins invited the boys to her property and bought drugs and alcohol , wanting her home to be seen as the ‘fun, party house’.
She engaged in sexual intercourse and oral sex with the youngsters and even claimed to one of them he had got her pregnant and that she’d need an abortion.
Tompkins, 39, was sentenced for 10 counts of physical and sexual abuse with six boys which took place in her home while they were aged between just 13 and 15 years.
During sentencing, the judge said to Tompkins: “You pleaded guilty to a most dreadful catalogue of sexual offending against young boys.
“Your approach was anything goes as you saw fit in your own drunken stupor.
“You were prepared to abuse each of the boys for your own sexual gratification, you simply had a sexual drive that knew no ends. Nothing was enough.
“To your own children in your drunken state you were a dreadful mother, you sexually abused children while your own two youngest children were in the house.”
She admitted seven counts of sexual activity with a child , one of attempted sexual activity with a child, one of attempting to sexually assault a child and one of attempting to engage in sexual activity with a child ahead of a trial.
Tompkins appeared at a hearing at Aylesbury Crown Court via videolink and the court heard how she would let the teenagers drink and smoke cannabis in her home before preying on them after performing a striptease.
Kim Preston, prosecuting, said: “The defendant liked her own home to be viewed as the party house, the fun house. She would allow them to drink, cannabis was allowed to be smoked.”
The prosecutor described the first occasion when mother-of-three Tompkins abused two boys at her home in February last year, saying she’d become “suggestive” and that she tried to touch a couple of the boys intimately but they both pushed her away.
Later, the boys returned to Tompkins’ house in Bletchley, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, and she “quickly became predatory.”
She went upstairs then returned to the children completely naked and invited them upstairs.
Two of the boys went into her bedroom to find her having sexual intercourse with their friend, before grabbing the boys and performing oral sex on them.
On another occasion she had vaginal sex with one of the teenage boys and pressured him to have anal sex with her but he refused.
Prosecuting barrister Ms Preston described a fourth occasion where two of the boys arrived at the home to find Tompkins trying to “cajole the boys to have sexual intercourse with her”.
Tompkins initially denied the allegations against her.
Ms Preston told the court Tompkins had used Facebook to message one of the boys she had pressured into having sex with her and told her she had needed an abortion.
“She sent naked pictures,” she said.
“There was no reply. The download of her phone showed a vast number of images of her in various stages of undress. “
She added that the mum had clear knowledge of the youth and innocence of the boys she was assaulting.
Tompkins’ victims had gathered in court for the sentencing and impact statements from the young boys were read to Judge Francis Sheridan.
One said: “I have felt very stressed out, I have always worried people will talk about what happened, everyone from friends to adults.
“I’ve found it hard to socialise with some of my friends.”
One said that going to school has been difficult.
Judge Sheridan said it took “enormous bravery” for the boys to appear in court.
“It is devastating but you can’t let yourself become at a disadvantage or an abuser wins,” the judge said.
The barrister said that Tompkins deserved credit for admitting her crimes.
Mr McCann added she had gone 38 years without coming to the attention of police for criminal conduct.
“She has been in and out of the care system,” he said.
“She was left in an isolated position, virtually friendless. Her way of dealing with it was drink and this extreme sexualised behaviour. She has spent weeks in HMP Bonzefield with only one visitor.
“Moving to the future if she is to make herself safe from alcohol and self-destruction, she has to work openly and thoroughly on her deep-rooted issues.
“The alcohol consumed at the household was mostly consumed by her, she did not supply all of it or indeed most of it.”
The judge jailed Tompkins for a total of seven years and placed a sexual harm prevention order on her.
